ALBERT VILADROSA


Albert Viladrosa (Rosselló de Segrià, 1951) es un pintor que en sus inicios en los años setenta se adentra en el mundo de la cerámica, de ahí su constante pasión por lo matérico, las tierras, los óxidos, esmaltes, pigmentos , etc. El relieve, la textura, los volúmenes, el color y la luz que capta en el paisaje natural de la Isla representan para el artista toda una paleta de sensaciones para ser expresadas en sus apuntes y lienzos. La investigación pictórica en la que se adentra no sólo es una representación real o imaginaria, representa también un marco de experiencias con una significación vital ya la vez espiritual del territorio. El artista reivindica un territorio donde destacan la presencia de elementos naturales que emergen del territorio, y elementos ligados al concepto de humanidad como es la arquitectura, la que se integra en este paisaje con unas formas simples, no sofisticadas, y con un cierto deje de primitivismo ligado a la tierra y a la gente que la habita. El artista mediante una técnica donde aplica sucesivas capas de pigmentos, va construyendo y deconstruyendo un paisaje dentro de un territorio, también excesivo para un pintor, que es el lienzo. A partir de una base pictórica neutro aplicada en todo el lienzo, el artista crea sus pinturas superponiendo y solapando varias capas de pigmento en el lienzo, cada una de estas reserva de la memoria, total o parcialmente, al anterior, que queda como un recuerdo del territorio primigenio
